Our approach

Gastropure is an all-natural way to reduce bloating, gently increase bowel movements and ensure you can go to the toilet easily every day.

Fiber is one such 'remedy'.

Fiber helps bulk up stool, expanding the intestines and temporarily making it easier for stool to pass through the body. However, the problem with fiber is that it also feeds harmful bacteria and parasites. Moreover, most commercial fiber products are loaded with artificial sweeteners and flavorings to mask the unpleasant taste. If you're trying to get your digestion moving again, commercial fiber supplements can do more harm than good.

Laxatives are another example.

Although laxatives work temporarily by forcing the body to push out the contents of the colon, they actually destroy the colon, completely smoothing out its delicate, natural folds. Over time, the colon further loses its shape, structure, and elasticity, creating a dangerous cycle where you become dependent on laxatives because your colon can no longer function properly.

Probiotics too!

Probiotics have exploded in popularity over the past five years, but they should never be taken orally. This is because oral probiotics are largely destroyed by stomach acid, while those that do survive only reach the small intestine, which is not where they belong. It's the large intestine that needs probiotics, while the small intestine should be perfectly clean. One study has even shown that oral probiotics slow the regeneration of a normal gut microbiome.

Our nerve cells take their time.

Gender-related brain functions cause the intestines of women and men to behave differently. Research by Dr. Tanja Babic of Penn State College of Medicine has shown that the nerve cells that control the movement of food through the intestines function more and more slowly in women than in men. Research has also shown that women are six times more likely to experience digestive problems, and these problems increase with age.
